Pub operators need to think beyond traditional pub food and compete head-on with high street restaurant chains in order to secure their survival into the future.
Pubs, under pressure from falling drink sales, are increasing looking at food as a way of boosting revenues. Focus on food boosts f&b salaries in London hotels
The boom in fine dining in London, which now boasts 55 Michelin starred restaurants, has helped push salaries for food and beverage professionals in city hotels up by 25% over the past year.
